“ CYM is a very chill and relaxed coffee shop in Gville. We came for the fall menu this time and it didn’t disappoint. The pumpkin patch latte was awesome. It has hints of nutmeg and maple. It was delicious. Same goes for the cinnamon muffin. I thought the prices were fair. They even have a cold case with other various drinks that are affordable. There are plenty of seats inside and out. Along with tons of parking. Theres also a coffee shop cat outside and he lets you pet him (or her?). Overall this is one of the best shops in Gainesville. ”
“ Such a cute local coffee spot! Great coffee, and other drink options plus baked goods. Highly recommend if you enjoy the local spots. ”
“ I go semi regularly for coffee with a friend here. This trip I had a coconut cream latte, but I also do drip coffee if I am not wanting sugar. All drinks are excellent. They often have fun special lattes for the holiday or season. There isn’t a lot of indoor seating but more than many other coffee shops that have a local and unique vibe. Indoor decor is cute and the library room has books to read and a large table for a group of six or to share with other small groups. There is also a lot of outdoor seating for nicer days both on the porch and on the side. ”
“ Neat local coffee shop! I stopped with some friends while we were passing through the area. We had a great experience - the service was friendly and speedy, and our drinks were great! The latte I had (coconut caramel) was tasty - almost the perfect balance of coffee/espresso taste with the coconut flavor. The interior is nicely put together and has an almost quaint feeling. We’d definitely stop again if we are in the area! ”
“ Love CYM Coffee. A regular stop for me when passing through the Newberry area. Coffee has a nice smooth and sweet taste. I typically get my usual oat milk latte and this has never disappointed me here. They offer plenty of cozy indoor and outdoor (shaded) seating. The location is on a bit of a wonky corner but perfectly manageable. Great stop. Highly recommend! ”
“ On a mission to have local coffee while traveling, I stumbled on CYM Coffee and had a great latte. They have parking available, real cups available if you are not taking away, and a number of unique working spaces which were all being utilized. I found space at a communal table and a plug for the laptop. Food was baked goods only and I indulged in the most amazing chocolate croissant! ”
“ Come on out and see us the food is pretty dorn good. I sell New Orleans style Sno-balls "Island Gator Girl" so if you see me there mention you seen this. I'll give you a dollar off your first Sno-ball. You can even earn a free one I'll let you know how. ”
“ This was my wife's and my first time visiting this place in probably over 10 years. We were pleasantly surprised. The barista was friendly and NOT comatose like the typical counter-service restaurant employees. She was cheerful and volunteered helpful information about their drink offerings. The coffee was great, and the atmosphere was nice. My only criticism is that the outside of the property needed some care, but I can easily overlook that considering that the prices are very reasonable. ”
